Applicability
There are restrictions regarding employing workers on holidays and Sundays, aka “Blue Laws”. Restrictions apply both to retail and non-retail business, including manufacturing. In some cases work may be performed without a permit but certain restrictions, such as time & one-half pay and voluntariness, may apply. In some cases work may only be performed by special permit.
