  1. Meeting Preliminaries

  2. Isaac Mass

    • Motion for Recommendation to the Town Council re: the proposed ordinance

      General Discussion...
Isaac Mass presented his argument for a proposed public safety ordinance re: needle exchange. He proposed certain restrictions and fines for non licensees to do exchanges of needles. There were several public comments on why this would hinder people from exchanging needles which would increase HIV etc. Mass believes more Pharmacies will have Sharp containers. Also, this ordinance will prohibit unregulated needle exchanges where no information is provided.

There were several people voicing their concerns of putting restrictions on the needle exchange. They wanted the board to reject it

    • Proposed Needle Exchange Ordinance

      General Discussion...
The Board decided not to vote on Isaac Mass' proposed needle exchange ordinance.

  3. Shayla Caldwell

    • Variance Request

      General Discussion...
Sofia Kolinski appeared before the board on behalf of Shayla Caldwell. Sofia was here to ask for a variance request for Shayla. Shayla has been certified to do microblading for eyebrows for a little less than one year and she has performed this on 48 people. MA rules are you need to work for someone doing microblading for one year and perform on 50 people.

After consideration, the Board decided to grant variance and allow Shayla to work in MA with the stipulation of passing both inspections.

  4. Indian By Nature

    • Probationary Period Update

      General Discussion...
Since the last Board meeting, Indian by Nature was inspected every two weeks and did not pass. Dr. Nusbaum, a food consultant, was there to support the restaurant. Dr. Nusbaurm said he thought the food was safe. Steve on the board said he was not comfortable eating there and therefore he could not allow other people to eat there.

Steve made a motion to revoked their permit immediately and Dr. Doyle seconded. Their license would be revoked immediately.

  5. Meeting Wrap-up

The listing of matters is those reasonably anticipated by the Chair which may be discussed at the meeting. Not all items listed may in fact be discussed and other items not listed may also be brought up for discussion to the extent permitted by law.
