Members present: Bob Sagor (Vice-Chair), Denise Leonard, Alissa Williams, Andrea Moorhead.

*Approved the October 26, 2017 minutes with a 4 to 0 vote.
*Affirmed need for conversation with Agent of the Conservation Commission to discuss possible collaboration.
*Affirmed need for conversation with Town Planner to discuss further revisions to the Master Map.
*Decided to move forward on the establishment of new community gardens in consultation with Eveline MacDougall.
*Confirmed date of next meeting, January 25, 2018, 7 p.m., Town Hall.
*Reaffirmed GAC’s mission to maximize number of farmland acres preserved. Possibility of working with land trusts to encourage applications for APRs.
*Discussed new legislation granting Ag Coms the power to manage town owned protected land. Need for further clarification before meeting with Mayor Martin.
*Affirmed the importance of establishing a working relationship with the Conservation Commission to share information about overlapping issues.
*Reviewed the revised version of the Master Map. Identified omissions and relevant elements to be added, including waterways and un-farmable land.
*Reviewed the need for community gardens within walking distance. Cited educational importance of community gardens for young people.
*Welcomed new GAC member Alissa Williams.
