1. Call to Order

CHAIRPERSON STATEMENT: If any person present is recording this meeting you must notify the chairperson at this time.

2. Roll Call

3. Approval of Minutes/Pending

4. Update: Previously unanimously adopted Commission investigation and administrative hearing regarding the Franklin Pride poster removal at Town Hall.

5. Motion update: Greenfield Human Rights Commission appoint a study committee to consider a Housing First policy for the City of Greenfield, Massachusetts and motions previously filed that are pending on homeless prevention and homelessness

6. Update on Motion: To initiate investigations into the existence of unlawful discrimination in the Town ( now City ) which may deny or tend to deny equal access or opportunity in matters of...public accommodations on the basis of:....sexual orientation, and in connection therewith to hold administrative hearings.

7. Sub-Committee Clarification/Mayor's Office

8. Request-update: amending our bylaws to change to whom we are advisers to, Instead of the Mayor, Town Council is suggested by a HRC Commissioner.

9. New Business-October is Bullying Prevention Month.

10. Next Meeting –The 2nd Monday of November is a holiday and all Town offices are closed. We need to discuss this conflict as it applies to the next HRC meeting.
