The mail box is located at the top of the accessibility ramp on the right side of city hall next to the door. Please use this drop box for all municipal correspondence 24 hours a day.
Last Day To Register To Vote Or To Change Voter Information
The last day to register to vote or to change your voter information for the all Elections are 20 days prior to the date of the election. The City Clerk’s Office will be open on that date.
Absentee Ballot Information
The last day to apply for an absentee ballot for any election is 5:00 pm on the 4th business day before an election.

What is the difference between absentee voting and early voting?
Early voting is a process by which a registered voter can vote before Election Day during a designated period. Voters can vote by mail and the ballot will be cast on Election Day.
Early voting is different from absentee voting because you do not need a reason to vote early. Early voting is currently not availabe for Local Elections. For State/Federal Elections, Early Voting dates are scheduled by the State Elections Division.
Is absentee voting still available?
Yes. If you are qualified to vote by absentee ballot you may still do so.
To apply for an absentee ballot, you must be:
A registered voter who will be unable to vote at the polls on Election Day due to:
- taking precautions relatted to COVID-19
- absence from the City of Greenfield during normal polling hours; or
- physical disability preventing you from going to the polling place; or
- religious beliefs
Where do I vote in-person?
All nine precincts vote at the Greenfield High School gymnasium, 22 Barr Avenue (enter through rear of building).
What time are polls open?
Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election days
