Olive Street Garage Available for Franklin County Fair Parking on September 9 and September 10

GREENFIELD – Greenfield is delighted to welcome the Franklin County Fair for its 174th annual celebration. This year’s festivities occur from Thursday, September 7, to Sunday, September 10. 

To accommodate the additional traffic, the fairgrounds will offer free parking at the Olive Street Parking Garage on Saturday, September 9 and Sunday, September 10. The gates for the fairground open at 8 a.m. on both days. The fair expects to be operational until 10 p.m. on Saturday and 9 p.m. on Sunday. 

Those who park at the Olive Street Parking Garage can either walk to the fairgrounds or be transported via a free shuttle service offered by the fair. The shuttles will be available from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. 

A state-issued heat advisory will be in effect until Friday, September 8, at 8 p.m. We implore all attendees to drink plenty of water and exercise their best judgment during the advisory.
