Greenfield Human Rights Commission Reinstitutes Human Rights Award

GREENFIELD - The Greenfield Human Rights Commission is reinstituting the Greenfield Human Rights Award. This is a former tradition that has not been recognized in the community since 2016, but we are delighted to see it return thanks to the efforts of the commission.

The HRC will accept the Human Rights Award nominations until Thursday, December 7, at 5 p.m. The HRC members will then vote anonymously to select an award winner. The winner will be recognized at the Human Rights Award Ceremony on Sunday, December 10, from 12 - 2:30 p.m. at the John Zon Community Center and will have their name engraved on the HRC Award plaque at City Hall.
