The Greenfield Department of Public Works Announces Options for Christmas Tree Disposal

GREENFIELD - The Greenfield Department of Public Works has announced steps residents can follow for Christmas Tree disposal.

Residents have two options:

1. Greenfield residents who receive curbside trash collection can place Christmas trees curbside for collection at no charge.  The curbside collection period will commence January 2^rd through January 19^th.  It will be on the same day as trash collection, however a different vehicle collects the trees.

OR

1. Christmas trees can be brought to the Transfer Station at no charge for Greenfield Residents.  There is a ten dollar charge for non-Greenfield residents.

Transfer Station Hours: Tuesday through Friday 11:00 to 2:30; and Saturdays * 7:30 to 2:00 p.m.  (Will be closed Friday and Saturday, December 29^th and 30^th)

* Beginning January 15^th the Saturday hours will be 7:30 to 12:00.
