Emergency Winter Weather Parking Ban in Effect from 1/6 at 10 P.M. to 1/8 at 6 A.M.

An Emergency Winter Weather Parking Ban, prohibiting parking on BOTH sides of the street, is in effect from 10:PM., Saturday, January 6th through 6:00 AM on Monday, January 8th, 2024 on all streets.

This Emergency Winter Parking Ban does not include on-street metered parking during regular business hours (Downtown Business District).

There is no overnight parking in city parking lots except in the designated areas of the Downtown Economy Lot (Chapman and Davis Street). Also please remember during Snow Emergencies, the first three floors of the Olive Street Parking Garage will be available for free overnight parking, allowing the DPW to clear the streets and parking lots in a more efficient manner. All cars must vacate the parking garage by 10 a.m. on Monday, January 8 to avoid incurring parking garage hourly expenses ($.40 an hour).

THE CITY WILL HAVE ALL VEHICLES IN VIOLATION OF THE PARKING BAN TOWED AT THE OWNERS EXPENSE.
