Greenfield Opens Warming Centers for 1/19 and 1/20

GREENFIELD – With temperatures dropping into the single digits, Greenfield is opening its warming centers on Friday, January 19 and Saturday, January 20.

There are several warming centers located throughout Greenfield. The list includes:
  • Greenfield Public Library (412 Main Street): Friday 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
  • John Zon Community Center (35 Pleasant Street): Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Greenfield Housing Authority Community Room (1 Elm Terrace): Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Greenfield Police Department will be increasing patrols during this period to help people find temporary shelter.
